I'm cleaning off my friends list.
If I don't talk to you, then I am removing you. It is nothing personal at all, it's just a hassle to keep scrolling around the list to find certain people I talk with.
Friends lists to me are for people I actually speak with. I don't get involved in this 'add me and I'll add you stuff'.

It's amazing the different situations that happen when you get to see the true colors of people. It can be shocking, disturbing, saddening and disheartening, but really what can you do?
Some people hide their nature and surround it by wonderful words and acts. Others are more upfront and noticeable, but people still refuse to see what is in front of their face.
It's lessons that are learned from these situations. Whether they are good or bad they are still lessons. No matter how deep they cut, or even if they cut at all, they are lessons that will help us grow and evolve.
I've started to really question the true nature of some people. It's almost as though viewing certain actions has removed a small layer of naivety that I still had within me. There was still a small part of me that wanted to see the good in every single person and possibly believe the words that they've said.
But really you cannot.
Words and actions are so different. A person can keep saying the same phrase over and over, but nothing will be done. It's just words. However, when actions are followed by words, then that is when it is set in motion. And it's a rarity that motion is taken after words are expressed.
What causes us to walk away from the situation is a personal choice for us all. But as we walk away we may realize some different things that we will want to avoid next time.
Living is learning and learning is living.

That is why I refuse to rate anymore. People take ratings way tooooo seriously. They call names and feel that they can dictate what they should be rated.
That is not the case. Just because you feel that your profile deserves more doesn't mean it does. When signing up for VR you are given the right to rate what you choose. There are no rules for rating.
People have different rating criteria. So suck it up.
It's old watching all these people demand a higher rate just because they feel they deserve it.
Complain about something more important like gas prices, people who do not take care of their children, people who dwell in hate just because they hate themselves.. there are so many options out there, pick a different one. The rate complaining is tedious.

There are times when trying to see the good in a person doesn't work. Especially when the same face is shown over and over again. While looking to hard for the good deep down within, you tend to lose focus and the negative things get hidden because you keep giving that person the benefit of the doubt. You dig and dig and flags keep rising, but you disregard them until one day you step back, look at the whole picture and realize that there are things you should have seen all long.
When you start to see it, you step back and look at the people that surrounds them and wonder if they see it or maybe they are the same way. And then you start to see more and more that some of them are and some are just blinded by the blinders they wear.
I had hope that some people were just naive in their ways, but now I see I was naive in mine. The illusion of goodness in people has shattered a lot of the past month or so. Seeing the way that people really act and who they really are makes me sad. It really is no wonder as to why there are so many people who choose to just remain silent and enjoy things on a non personal level.
There are many people who scream Do not Judge Me, but how can you really not judge someone in a negative light when all they put forth is negativity, hatred and uncalled for behavior?
You can't.
We are humans and first impressions can be everything. How you treat people can be everything. If you loathe yourself that doesn't give you the right to be mean or hateful to anyone else because you aren't happy with who you are. There is no excuse for that kind of thing.
I try to keep my opinions to myself because I know that there are times when I am wrong about a person or a situation. It saves me in the long run from looking like an ass. I do not like to be mean just to be mean. It makes me feel vile and that is a feeling I cannot stand.
I have found myself being disgusted with people more and more these days. I would hope that people would act better, but it appears that some people to choose act like gutter trash and self serving, narcissistic bastards. Does this make you happy? I really hope it does because if that's the case, you should be the happiest bastard on this planet.
I have standards for those that I surround myself with. I love to learn from the people I surround myself with. I learn from their humor, their thinking, their way of life and the way they choose to express them self. The people that I am friends add something special to my life. I thank them for that without them I'd feel incomplete in ways.
I guess also I can thank those that are shitty people. Because you make me want to be a better person and never be like who you are. I look deep within myself and if I see any reflection of the horrible things that you do within myself, I change them with a quickness.
So I guess that isn't all bad, now is it?

I don't think I want to move either. I love this house and with being here alone a lot, it's perfect for me. At some point I have the feeling that this place will be my sooner than later. So why move?

I have nothing to say lately. I am locked in a dungeon of quietness. There are no guards, no other prisoners or anything else that lives in breaths but me. The only thing that keeps me here is the walls that feel like there were constructed around me. In many ways they are and always will be.
I wish there were some moments I could erase. The moments that wouldn't change the greater outcome of things. It would be wonderful if I could just forget, but like a residual haunting, they keep returning.

We went to go look at the two houses today.
Oh My God. The little house off the to the side is ADORABLE!. Seriously It is so tiny and cute!
There are just a few things that need to be done in the smaller house, but nothing major. New linoleum in the small mud room and bathroom, new toilet and a new sink.
You can tell it's an older house by the cupboards and the doors in the bathroom closets, but it's adorable.
The bigger house has a smaller kitchen.. actually.. I don't care about the big house. The smaller one is where it's at!

Granted there maybe very few exceptions, but when it is a constant thing it is very doubtful.

I am appalled at the way some people treat anonymous members within their web cam castings. The anon member doesn't even have to speak and they are getting verbally assaulted. Or the person is being nice and pleasant and they are automatically jumped because people are paranoid the anon is going to start problems. Which, yes, sometimes anon's do come in and cause trouble, but you have the ability to turn the feature off.
Do you people realize that some of these anon's are actual people just browsing the site to see if maybe they would like it here? To see if they would fit in? Did you ever take a moment out of your paranoid lives and THINK about that? My guess is no you haven't.
People that are jumping all over anon who come in and nice and just wanting to talk are holding back Vampire Rave. That one single person that you have decided to treat horribly could have joined and brought in numerous other members, causing VR to grow even larger than what it is. You are prohibiting that with your actions. How does that make you feel? Seriously? Does it make you feel wonderful that you are holding back something that is larger than what you are?
People forget not only is this a site they enjoy, it is also a business. By your actions you are holding back the growth of a business. Because you are so selfish to think that the world revolves around you and that everything is there to cause YOU problems you are stopping a form of site evolution.
If you are that paranoid you shouldn't be on cam or you should turn your anon chat feature off. I honestly, really think you should have your web cam privileges permanently taken away, because you are harming the growth of Vampire Rave.
FYI.. I am not talking of those people who come in and trash you. Then again, if you didn't like it you'd turn the anon feature off. So really, if you are complaining about the drama that anons bring, then you like the drama. You can lie to yourself all you want, but your actions show your true colors.

I cleaned out all of the people I don't talk to and the journals that are not posted into anymore from my friends/favorites list.
I deleted over 100 people and more than that in my journals' list. I noticed that the journals section sucks with that, you can only move forward and backwards. :(
I think the Monkey Man needs to fix that, what do you say?

I am not here because I enjoy the people I am friends with, the ones I have interactions with and the ones that keep my attention. Also I enjoy lending a helping hand to keep things in order. It's enjoyable to me.
I would much rather enjoy my time be actually interacting with people than just throwing them on my friends list so they can get a higher level.
